Zawiyah Foundation's Zakat Fund also gives financial assistance and non-perishable food to individuals, families, and the elderly who are in financial need in the Metro Vancouver area. The fund also subsidizes education to students who come from low-income families to study at its private school, Qawsain Knowledge House.
