“Human Rights in the Scriptures” – 4th annual Vancouver Interfaith 2010
Welcome to the 4th annual Vancouver Interfaith event presented by Zawiyah Foundation! The topic this year is “Human Rights in the Scriptures”.
Mark your calender on Sunday June 20 to attend this special occasion. Come out and enjoy speeches from different interfaith speakers, check out exhibits and displays and socialize with like-minded individuals.
Refreshments will be available and the event will conclude with lunch. We look forward to sharing this summer afternoon with you!

We will have exhibits, speeches from different faith leaders and refreshments and lunch will be served.

- Sheikh Ismail Al-Khaliq – Al-Mustafa Academy
- Pastor Victor Holmquist – Christian Standard Church Ministries

We will be using Heritage Hall for our event. It is a landmark building at the corner of 15th Avenue and Main Street in Vancouver. Our interfaith event will take place on the main floor.

Zawiyah Foundation is a non-profit Islamic Centre serving the Vancouver Muslim Community. It has hosted Interfaith events since 2007.

The founder and spiritual leader, Imam Fode Drame, has been involved in dialogue with other faith leaders for many years and have contributed to the local interfaith discourse. He has been featured in a CBC/Radio Canada documentary as well as Vancouver Magazine and the Vancouver Courier Newspaper.
