Its that time of the year again! Zawiyah Foundation is pleased to be hosting 4 summer picnics for you and your families!
The theme this year will be: “Remembrance of God”.
Cost will be $5 per person. Children under 7 are free. *Eco-bag users will get a discount (Eco-bags will also be sold at each picnic)
Enjoy a delicious picnic meal, socialize and get some spiritual upliftment with a short talk by Imam Fode Drame at the end of the picnic.
Here are the 4 locations and their directions:
June 14th - 11am-3pm
Queen Elizabeth Park
1. Drive 33rd Ave Westward
2. Drive into park following the road
3. Keep going up hill until you see duck pond on the left
4. Park on the street and meet at the pond!
July 5th – 11am-3pm
Burnaby Foreshore Park
1. Take Marine Way and turn south on Byrne Road
2. Follow road and cross railway tracks
3. Drive until road curves at end
4. Turn right on Mountbatten St right before the curve.
July 19th – 11am-3pm
Riverfront Park
1. Take SE Marine Drive
2. Turn south on Jellicoe St
3. Turn right on E Kent Avenue S (last street before dead end)
4. Follow street, Park at end of road
Aug 9th – 11am-3pm
Memorial Park
1. Drive North on Fraser St
2. Turn right on 41st St
3. Turn right on Prince Albert St
4. Park near the pond
